Pros: Directions to shuttle were clear and precise. Wait time was short. Shuttle bus driver was very nice and helpful. Desk staff were very efficient and clear on all charges. Car was in immaculate condition and I fully understood the rental terms. Price was also very reasonable. I picked surprice because their working hours were later than the other companies but I would definitely go with them again.

Cons: There were so many dents and scratches on the car and on returning the car it took nearly 1 hour because nobody could put the deposit of €1559 back on my credit card so I had to leave my Bank Account details for them to do a bank transfer the next day. I couldn't wait any longer because we would have missed the plane!

Pros: Very efficient and ease of making the booking. Excellent feedback and communication. No pressure with not requiring expensive insurance. My own was accepted. Definitely the best experience and service I have received from a car rental company.

Cons: Couldn’t reach anyone via the phone when we needed to enquire about dropping the car back early- so had to drive back to the airport (30 mins) just to ask. When I told them the car wasn’t it great condition on drop off they didn’t seem too care.

Cons: I received a crappy car, paid a fortune extra as insurance because otherwise I had to block EUR 1845 on my creditcard that had a credit limit left of EUR 1500, It said outside the airport or shuttle service but for the shuttle service before 8.00 AM it was EUR 35 extra for a 10 minutes drive

The pick up was too from the airport. it took 1 hour 20 mins to get checked in with only 1 customer ahead of me. Staff had no booking information and very disorganized. Will defiantly NEVER use Surprice again

Cons: The car was awful a very old car with very poor lights,high mileage,spongy suspensionand poor bodywork. Rear parcel shelf was held in position with self tapping screws. Not at all what I expected and had to put up with this awful car for 3 weeks!!

Pros: I liked the matter of fact approach and didn't feel like they were looking to get me for something small. Much better than the rating implied, was pleasantly surprised.

Cons: During pickup I spent a lot of time waiting for documents that could've been made available days before. Seemed unnecessary.

Cons: I had ordered a car with four doors and I ended up with a car with two doors. This was fine since there was only two of us. I also asked for full tank and it was a 1/4 full and therefore probably lost about 10 Euros. Awaiting email regarding the total cost of Via Verde tolls during our 12 day trip.

Tank was provided 3/8 full, so needed refueling fairly quickly and difficult to return with the same, so we ended up over fuelling trying to guess how much we would need to get return the car from our destination. Pros: Very helpful. Easy to find and shuttle took just a few mins to arrive. I had messed up and thought I could cover the insurance on my Amex. They worked it out for me so I had to take the full insurance but was still not that expensive, and they were really polite and helpful explaining it all, and even gave me a free upgrade as I was now paying so much more, but it did clearly say no amex on my rental, so was totally my fault, I just hadn't noticed!

Cons: Being there at 7.45am and sitting outside the gates until they "open at 8" did seem a bit churlish. Given the UK flights are all around 10 and 11 am, I'd suggest 7.30 would just get rid of some of those very stressed Brits first thing!

We regularly use Discover Cars to book car hire and are generally very satisfied, however, the price the SurPrice charge for a second driver would have been greater that the entire cost of the car hire contract and therefore we wont be using them again.

Cons: The policy of half full to half full is designed to,rip off the hirer. Please do full to full as was originally agreed when I hired the vehicle on line. Please don't change the rules at the desk.

Pros: The old woman at the Counter was not at all friendly. In the morning as i wanted to Return the car (5am and i payed for this extra) there was anyone there. Someone came a few minutes later.

He told us to claim it back off our insurance. This had never happened before and we rent cars on every holiday.

I was required to pay the total excess on the car via credit card, attempted to pay via debit and was refused repeatedly. was then forced to pay for their insurance, which apparently had to be taken by credit card but they were eventually somehow able to process it on my debit.

Cons: Long wait at airport for shuttle bus, over an hour. We got on the 4th time it arrived. Long wait at the rental desk when we collected the car, and the same when we returned it. Long queue for shuttle so we called a taxi for fear of missing our flight. They need more shuttle buses and more staff. Everyone was complaining. I would never use Surprice again.

I got there early waiting for the office to open when a member of staff opened up and asked us to come in. If I had known that, I would rather have stayed outside the gate. Unfortunately, there was an impatient client, and he was not polite to the driver, trying to tell him how to do his job. Uncomfortable situation We had paid $15.00 a day for a GPS, and we did not receive proper instructions how to use it. They were unable to help us. We never used the GPS. It was a challenge for us to navigate in Portugal!

Cons: They locked €2000 for the duration of our trip and did not give us that money back until a week after returning the car. They said it was just a pre-authorisation and nothing to worry about. My flight arrived late, so the attendant didn't seem super pleased to be dealing with a check-in. Incredibly difficult to find info late at night for the shuttle to get to the pick-up location. My car seat was soaked because the window was left open.

Différents autres suppléments pas prévus dans le contrat de base - ils savent que nous sommes coincés sur place donc ils tentent d'en profiter. Finalement, nous avons rompu le contrat et avons prix un taxi. Nous avons trouvé un loueur de véhicule à Lagos qui travaille sans carte VISA et donc le prix affiché est le prix réel.

The rep I dealt with in the office was good, but the overall manager was overly short, rude and abrupt with two other clients whilst I was there, and this set a very bad impression.

Cons: The ride to and from the airport by the shuttle. We had to wait for a long time before the shuttle came. Children were seated in the shuttle without seatbelts, because the driver wanted to fit as many as possible. The driver drove too fast and it did not feel safe.
