The Sixt branches at Frankfurt Airport are located at Terminal 1 (Hall A Level 0) and Terminal 2 (Hall D) at the "Car Rental Center". Please follow the signage for Car Rentals.
Drop-off instructions
Exit the motorway towards Frankfurt Airport and follow the signage towards terminal 2. Directly after the last intersection before terminal 2, please turn right towards the rental car return. Follow the green signage "car rental return". After entering the car rental car park (return zone) please follow the Sixt signage.

Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff!
Cons: We had a minor issue with the child seat... We received it broken and still wet from the cleaning. I had to return to the desk and ask for a replacement which took another 15 minutes. Overall, I think I spent almost 40 extra minutes during the car pick-up because of it. That said, I'm not blaming anyone on Sixt! All employees were super friendly and helpful and helped us get a new child seat quickly. I had a great experience overall!

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Mileage: 1500 km per rental, Loss Damage Waiver (damage deductible: € 1100.00), Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium Location fee, Road tax, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 23.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
All non-EU residents staying in the EU for longer than 6 months must present a driving licence from an EU country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
