Cons: The rental car provider has said they won't let me rent ta luxury SUV car I ordered because I don't have PREMIUM credit card. I said that Discover Cars didn't mentioned it so they said it's discover cars fault. representative name was Cezare. eventually they said I can take the car only if I purchase additional warranty with them and add 210 EUR to the order. If not they can't give me the car because my card isn't PREMIUM its only GOLD. asking for a refund as they said its discovercars fault.

I needed snow tires but these tires weren’t good. The one went flat. When I did have to use them in the snow, two times they didn’t work and I was almost stuck. I felt very taken advantage of.

The agent called me two time prior my flight having seen it was delayed and literally threatened me twice that he would not wait if I was not showing up on time. Despite him knowing about my flight delayed, he didn't offer any solution and was arrogant and agressive. Terrible attitude, and obviously, the shop was closed upon my delayed arrival. I had to spend 300 euros on a cab to my final destination.

The company should have checked before handling out their car to us! Moreover they also tried to push us to take additional insurance as they said it wasn't covered fully? Of course we refused as I have paid fully with your company, very pushy for sale!

Cons: When I arrived at the rental "booth" in the airport there was only two customers in front of me and 4 representatives behind the desk, yet it took them over an hour and a half before it was my turn, then even tho it clearly stated on my rental order that I had to pay NOTHING on pickup, I had to pay an additional 200+ euros for insurance that I had already paid for. I feel like I've been cheated out of my money and I missed my resturant reservations because of the agents being incredibly slow.

Pros: Absolute chaos when checking in. Not obvious you need to scan a QR code to get a ticket number. Upon return of the car they spot a crack in the windscreen and rinse us for over £1100. Then to rub salt in the wound they then charge us another days rental for being 30 mins over our time (despite admitting the car was not going to be rented due to the windscreen replacement). Could not be less impressed. Will never ever use again - would advise others to steer clear.

The reason given was difficulty taking money from a debit card if the car came back damaged. So the logical thing is to take a bigger deposit, which I said would be ok with. Instead they charged me more for the car (£150) and took a smaller deposit! this doesn't make any sense for the reason they gave, and felt like a way to get more money from me.

Cons: Collecting the car agent, an Arab, like myself, was rude and refused to listen about registering extra damages in the car, saying what on his report is the correct one. After insisting, I brought the car to where he wanted, he refused to walk to the other side of parking to spect. He spent over 7 minutes searching his tablet to proof he is right, and finally after he failed, he agreed to report the extra damage!! Very uncomfortable experience specially I was trying this company for first time!

Cons: The baby car seat was really low quality. In the Malpensa airport were many different baby car seats, all were old and with low quality (no easy fix connection, only belt connection). Though the staff members really tried to help, it took me a while to choose one that looked safe and comfortable enough for my 8 month old baby. I was deeply disappointed from the quality of the different seats because the price I paid for a week of rental (55 Euro) was more than I would pay to *buy* those seats.

Cons: Sicily by Car is the Ryanair of car hire, although the initial fee was low when I got to the desk I was informed that a huge insurance fee was required for the car, I was also informed that the insurance included a clause which meant that I could return the car empty for €24 all in, when I arrived to hand the car back the company backtracked and told me I would need to refuel the car before returning or face a bill of €100+ euro, the large insurance fee covered basically nothing (not big enough)

Pros: They were fast and efficient and didn’t try to persuade us to add extra insurance etc. They asked and left it at that rather than guilting you to change your decision.

Cons: The girl at the car pick up and drop off point was very grumpy and unfriendly.

Pros: Quick problem solving. My first car broke down and the next day I was able to pick up a new car.

Cons: On the same situino with the car that broke down, I was asked to pay for the towing of the broken car when it was clearly not my fault that anything went wrong

I was told I should have filled the tank in Milano - 50 KM away and 3)They rushed me upon return so much that I left a credit card in the car; now I cannot regain that credit card - no way to reach Sicily by Car

Cons: We have a small scratch on the bumper and were charged 270 Euros. I know it is listed on their terms and conditions, but I feel this "damage" charge is extremely high. Maybe that's their way to get customers to sign up for insurance to boost their rental revenue.

Cons: The girls that work at the reception in the parking lot should make an intensive class of kindness. They should remember that they are not VIP, that they are there to help the client and not to make them fell stupid. They are annoyed by clients...too bad they are working because of us. The girls don't have patience and treat you with superiority like they are too important to talk to you. And I felt sorry to see that they don't stand foreigners (I'm Italian). Cons: Had extra cover from discover but was told they'd still charge me for any damage as it wasn't with them. Was advised to inspect for extra scratches at 11pm and travelling for 12hrs with a child and baby. When said it was their job to inspect the car and log any previous damage I was told it was 'for my own good' as the drop off was I in a different location. Found 4 more scratches.No help to find the parked car or fit car seat. Tank 95% full. Nobody to collect car at Rimini airport as agreed.

Pros: People were incredibly friendly and helpful. My car had embedded GPS, so they didn't make me pay for the GPS option I asked for. My car got broken into and I didn't have insurance, but they suggested to look if my credit card would cover it, they helped me put the paper together and it worked out.

Cons: Once I picked up the car, I couldn't get the bluetooth working and there was no one available to help me out and nowhere I could park and wait, so I left.

Cons: We were charged an additional € 260 for insurance, information which was not apparent when we booked the car, in your propagation says that the insurance was included but this is believed said the lady at the rental ditches that that was not the case, here we are in the middle of the night and need a car, Goldcar, no more
