Pros: Really lovely people; helpful and very efficient. They even accommodated a last minute change from manual to automatic for me, despite it being a busy August morning!

Cons: The electric car didn't charge because of which I had to cut short my trip and return the car before it ran out of charge.

Cons: A representative didn´t check damages of the car with me upon pick-up and return. Hope they are serious about the pre-existing damages and don´t charge me.

Pros: Hassle free, no attempt to up-sell insurance or any issues with the car return. We were also provided an automatic, hybrid Renault Clio rather than the manual Opel we expected, a definite upgrade for the same price.

Pros: We had rented inadvertently a full electric car. Staff explained well the pros and cons for different regions of Italy. Also provided a card for free recharge at Enel Charging stations.

Cons: On the road assistance was not the best, not the worst, seemed limited in problem solving (only 1 call), the local agent at Peterolia office was however committed and followed-up by mail after our discussion. Turned out the problem was with Enel's system network.

Pros: Dropping off the car was hassle-free

Cons: When the agent was questioned about a fault with the car and when I requested to change it due to a fault with the A/C he responded in an aggressive and dismissive manner

Pros: Friendly and helpful. They did not try to charge for hidden fees.

Cons: A lot of forms to complete and no time to really read them. Agent made a point of having international drivers license or a fine. Would be good to include that with guidance on how to get that before the trip. Like a link in the confirmation- consequences if dont have and how to get it.

Cons: Complicated finding the return, even with nav. Long taxi line at train station to get to the airport. Car rental companies should consider a shuttle between train station and airport. Wouldn't risk renting at Firenze centrale ( nav, traffic, ZTL...)

Cons: If you're dropping off your car at Rome terminal Station. Beware that the drop off location written on the printed document may not be accurate. They have moved their office but failed to inform us. We ended arriving to an empty office. After numerous call and clarification we need to drive to their new office which is luckily not too far away.

Cons: I spent 45-50 minutes driving around the FCO Rome airport before finally finding the car return desk. They could use many more signs.

Pros: Very helpful when picking up the car. Needed to change the driver and they were very helpful in setting up a new contract.

Cons: The drop off at Roma Station was difficult. The paperwork told us to drop it off at one address, but when we finally arrived, there was a sign taped to the window that the return had moved down the street.

Pros: Nothing. They had one agent working, takes roughly 15 minutes to serve one guest and because everyone picks this company because they have the cheapest rates, the line up was huge. Spent 1.5 hours standing outside in the heat. Next time, just pay extra and save yourself the time by going with anyone else except Sicily by car.

Cons: They had a huge line up, they said my temporary license from Canada was not valid (I had renewed it on my birthday and it takes 2 weeks to mail the physical copy but on the paper copy it says it is valid with my photo id) so the agent made me add a secondary driver for 10 euros a day which was ridiculous. Then, within 200 km of driving, the coolant light came on and we stopped at a gas station to get it refilled and when I went to claim the 9 euros, they said it wasn't a valid receipt. Huge scam

Cons: The ridiculous waiting time with no shade provided. The lack of signage telling you the main office was closed and to use the parking lot office. The fact that a lot of T's and C's are not made clear during the booking process, leaving you in a bind when it comes to payment (and getting your deposit back)

Pros: The car was practically new and in perfect condition. It was obvious that it had been thoroughly cleaned before the rental. The employee who handled my car pickup was professional, friendly, and efficient. The drop-off took only a few moments. (The option of dropping the car off after-hours and leaving the car key in Sicily by Car's drop box is very convenient.) Last, but not least, the price was excellent.

Cons: Vehicle was not as clean as it should have been. Needed to be washed. Vehicle had scuffed and scratched paint. Vehicle had over 68,000 kms on the odometer. Low DEF light came on after about 300 kms of driving. I had to pay 15 Euros to replenish the DEF. Sent two emails to Sicily By Car requesting further information. Neither email was replied to.

Cons: See above - 64% increase in charges originally quoted on booking due to having a debit card... these charges were never explained apart from ‘ Visa Electron, Cash, Cheques, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted’ which did not include a debit card. They offered no further explanation as to the reasons for the extra charges.‘

Cons: The car stank intensely of cigarette smoke, for days. The dashboard indicated a yellow spanned warning lite indicating the car needed mechanical attention and a service, The automatic gearbox and clutch were out of sync , got worse during our hire and potentially dangerous, the power steering did not work at times, and we weren’t able to use the car as you could not turn the steering wheel.Nearly missed our flight 2 days running , spent time at a mechanics. Mechanically totally inadequate.

I should’ve listened, because as soon as I stepped up to the counter, the clerck was incredibly rude and gave me such a hard time about my rental reservation. He was just an angry person in general. While he was processing our paperwork, he would chime in on other customers complaining with he other clerks and I could see his face burn. I was shocked at this disgusting service.

Cons: Very unfriendly, did not help clarify anything at all and very unhelpful. I had put be reservation under my name but I said that my boyfriend would drive, I would just pay. Absolutely nonnegotiable and I put us both as drivers. When we got the keys, no one walked out with us to review the condition of the car and we actually had a very hard time finding the particular car. We returned the car with just under full gas, as we found it, and they refused to ackowledge that is how it was picked up.
