But my flight was delayed for 3 hours and I informed the discover cars that I will be needing rental car now at 1.30 pm. When I landed and called for car , I was denied by saying it's past 2 hours of initial booking and they even did not refund the money. I was kind of shocked how they treat the customers. I had to book another car which costed me 200$ more.

Also the amount they hold on you credit card seems to be flexible based on how they feel about you at that moment. After I caught in the extra insurance lie, my deposit magically went from $2k to 250 bucks. I guess when he saw that my other insured cars are a BMW and a Maserati he assumed I was good for the 3 y.o. POS Sentra.

On their website it states you must have personal insurance to decline theirs, but they expect you to have a 300,000 liability limit, which is insane! Then they try to scam you into getting a toll road payer telling you well everywhere you go in Florida will require you to take the toll, which is BS! Drove for a week and didn’t take a single toll road! It’s a hole in the wall car rental and suggest not using them unless a last resort!

A company that offers car rentals services at the airport needs to be more flexible for airport delays otherwise they should inform the client they can not rent for 9:00! Pros: The agent was nice. Our plane landed at 8:15pm and they called to confirm that we were still coming because they close at 9. The instructions on how to get to the shuttle pick up weren't very clear, but that's not exactly RightCar's fault. The car was fine.

Cons: The business model is price the cars lower than other places and upcharge on toll transponder and insurance fees, neither of which we needed. We didn't take the toll plan, which seemed to disappoint the agent, but it wasn't necessary. It didn't feel great having to make that decision at the desk because as first time visitors, we didn't know what to expect for whether there would be tolls or not. The requirement of having to bring your car insurance was ridiculous. It felt like a scam.

Many problems but the worst one was that we told the agent we did not need insurance and signed forms declining all coverage since we have full coverage. It's an unethical business that will charge fees (e.g. mandatory supplementary insurance, much-higher-than-normal daily toll pass usage fees) that other companies won't. We waited 45 minutes to be picked up to be taken to their offsite location and ultimately ended up cancelling and booking elsewhere after learning about fees that weren't disclosed at the time of booking. Waste of time.

Cons: It is inconvenient. First a shuttle to the airport car rental center (where the rest of the car rental agencies are located), then a 2nd shuttle to a tiny lot miles from the airport. There you find 2 people checking customers in, and one of them is busy half the time answering the phone. ALSO everyone discovered while standing in line, that they needed to physically show insurance papers. It's too much hassle at the end of a long day of traveling. And I couldn't find the lot to return the car!

I have never been subjected 2 such an over-the-top drop-off experience w/ a rental car. My guess from reviews I've read, the intake agent wanted 2 assess a cleaning charge! Beware!

Pros: Pick up at the airport was quick Car was clean in working order.

Cons: Forcing me to buy Insurance that I did not need.

Pros: Price

Cons: That they couldn't have car or shuttle at airport when I arrived. Had to get a ride to hotel and next day pick up car. Address didn't match location and had to drive around until found.

Pros: Drop off was very easy and fast

Cons: The two representatives at front desk (when pickup) were very rude. They did not give needed information on rental and when asked, they would get bothered and respond to questions with attitude. They were not patient at all and made my experience with rightcars very uncomfortable.

Pros: It would have been nice to find and get the car

Cons: We were told at the airport that we got scammed

Pros: they were closed and i was still partially charged for something that i did not receive

Cons: they were incompetent and did not communicate

Pros: Horrible service at the counter. Disgusting beat up cars.

Pros: Pricing and customer service

Pros: Nothing. Even the employees apologized for the terrible company policies. The bathroom was disgusting, pee all over the place and no toilet paper.

Cons: The car wasn’t clean, it wasn’t even washed.

Pros: engine light on, oil change light on, no spare tire, 60,000 miles..., excessive vibration, rattles

Pros: With all due respect, nothing other than the vehicle itself.

Cons: 1) Agents were not friendly or welcoming. 2) I was charged an initial fee online by Discover Car Hire, then was told by one agent I would receive it back at the drop off but then told by a different agent that it was part of the deal all along. 3) I was forced to buy a $200+ insurance policy from RightCars because my insurance "wasn't sufficient" even though it was. 4) I was charged a $25 late fee for bringing the car back 1 hour late when it could have easily been waved.

Pros: Easy in and out.

Cons: Weren't dropped off at departure terminal at airport.

Pros: Charges taken with proper explanation during taking the cars.

Cons: 1. No proper treatment with the customer by your representatives 2. Try to make customar full 3. Try to harass customer 4. I have taken insurence, after that also holding $500 from my card, when I was not ready to sign the document, thratend to call police, I was not worried about police, but worried about the time of my flight. 5. when returs to Airport, during summer pickup van does not have AC(Ac was not working stated by driver)

Pros: The car was in good shape & the rental process was easy. Their rep, Andrea, was helpful & easy to work with.

Cons: Our flight was an hour late and they didn't hold a car for us. The phone number kept getting disconnected so we couldn't even tell them we would be late.

Cons: False advertising, bait and switch, you name it, the rental agency had all the bad things going for it. Look at the internet reviews. 90% of reviews hate the company and wouldn't go back. With the surprises that awaited me at the rental counter, I join that crowd.

Cons: Mischarging by RightCars and failure to correct despite saying they would more than once. Still owed GBP39.97/$58.08 refund wrongly charged despite being told on the 12th Apri (Alex)l, 23rd April (Alessandro) and 25th April (Alex) that refund would be made - still no refund after nearly six weeks. Sunpass charging policy evidently a scam. Car was dirty - had not been washed or vacuumed. Worst car hire experience yet.

Cons: Everything. Unfriendly staff who intentionally lied to get us to buy a Sun Pass. No invoice sent to itemize additional charges. Drop off doesn’t open until 6 am, forcing us to incur a $20 fee to drop off at airport. Didn’t refund charges they “accidentally” added. Etc. etc

Cons: Website informtion was misleading about costs Toll sensor - $13/rental online vs $13/day in rental office You are new company trying to burst into very competitive industry. Low prices on website with hidden fees that inflate the final cost. I got frustrated and mad because my print out did not read the same as the company information at the kiosk. I had to phone to get bus pick up. Poor web info to find bus stop. Inadequate website info Your location is in the boondocks. You will go broke

Cons: When we finally got to the Right Cars desk, we were informed that there were none of the model we reserved available, so they said we would be getting a similar car. We were also told we could not opt out of their insurance, which was an additional $20 a day, even after we proved to the agent that we did not need it as we were covered through our credit card and travel insurance. They wouldn't budge on this. The agent assured us that a refund for our $50 deposit would be given, we just had to c

Cons: No airport pick up and car was not available. Also, they would not answer the phone or call back. Do not rent from rightcar

Cons: Agency didn't exist. Sign at the bus stop didn't even contain name of their brand and nobody had even heard of them. There was only an answering machine when I tried to call the number several times.

Pros: Terrible-gave my car away!

Cons: Rude! NO CAR for me!
