We will pick you up at Keflavík International Airport when your flight has arrived and you have collected your luggage. We will meet you in the arrival hall with our logo on a white board. From the airport we will transfer you directly to our Keflavík Office, Bogatröð 1, 262 Reykjanesbær (Keflavík). There we deliver you the car and provide you with all the information you need. Our representative arrives at the arrival hall every 20-30 minutes (given that customer are scheduled and have provided the correct flight information). Pros: Car ran great with no issue

Cons: You need more pick up and drop off times per day. It took us an hour before we had a pick up and the bus was full. We were lucky to be on it. Some people had to wait. Of course I’m not sure how long they originally waited.

Pros: Very little, the staff at pick up were rude and not particularly helpful and essentially tried to scam us when we picked the car up blaming us for a mark that was already on the car. If we hadn’t have taken pictures/videos before we would have had a hefty bill. I would avoid using these.

Cons: I thought the service was poor. The person that picked us up was rude, the person who took my details and handed over the keys was rude and belittling. I would not recommend them at all. It all felt a little like a scam, which was proved true at the end when they attempted to charge us for a chip in the windscreen that we had thankfully already taken videos and pictures of at the start.

Cons: The car provided was very old and not worth for what we paid. From other car suppliers we have always got an upgrades or atleast value for money cars but this was the first time i booked from discovery cars and had the worst experience. Will never book again from discovery cars.

Pros: Pick-up/Drop off to airport was good, although pick-up member of staff had a terrible attitude. Likely short-man syndrome.

Cons: Staff were pretty poor. Pick-up driver had the personality of a 15-year old. The customer service rep whom I dealt with on collection of the car was also very rude and seemed intent on making the experience difficult. Other customers had similar problems when we dropped off the car. So it wasn’t just us. Wouldn’t rent from them again.

Pros: RightCars service was excellent - above and beyond really.

Cons: I was told someone would be there at the airport to pick me up, but when I arrived, it was chaotic and no one was there for me. As I'm traveling from abroad, I didn't have a cell phone so I had to borrow the phone of a Hertz car agent. I was able to contact Right Cars and get directions on how to get to their facility, but it was pretty stressful.

Cons: Took a very long time to get the car. researching licences etc took ages. this was not time efficient at all. the amount you charged us for not refilling prior to drop of is a complete joke and unacceptable. We had to fill less than half a tank of fuel and you charged us £130!!! ridiculous

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 3000.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 20 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.

Maximum rental age is 80 years.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 70.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, ID card, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

During winter season (from 01.11 until 15.04) Winter tires are included in price.

It is allowed to add up to 3 additional drivers.
Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
The vehicle must be returned in an acceptably clean condition in order to avoid additional charges.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 28 days.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 0 minutes.
