One Switch Rent a Car at Fort Lauderdale Airport

Pros: It's always a pleasure renting with this One Switch location. They service was very nice, the guy at the front desk was attentive and made me feel comfortable during the process. Drop off was super easy, better than the pick up, I was out in minutes for the shuttle to take me to the airport

Cons: Pick up was busy, it was delayed for more than 20 minutes, but the good service compensated this

Pros: It was such a simple and friendly experience and the car was in great condition. The return was hassle free, easy and faster than the pick up

Pros: The staff at the checkout counter was fantastic, they were friendly, professional and efficient. They even gave us tips for out trip and tourist spots we should visit.

No me entregaron el vehículo que había alquilado.

Cons: Hidden fees on insurance and paid for a car similar to rav 4 and received a downgrade instead nissan kicks. I saw the rav 4 hidden on the back and still didn’t received it.

Pros: They refused to give me a car, unless I bought their very expensive car insurance. I am canadian, and never was refused a car. They always accept our Canadian insurance protection. Plus the agent at the counter was extremely rude and didn’t know his work so well. Asking the manager for answers. Only the shuttle driver was absolutely nice and understanding. Plus from what I saw in the parking lot. The cars weren’t very nice and reliable.

Pros: I liked the VIP option of returning a car in the airport parking garage.

Cons: I didn't like the the attitude of the agent towards customers. He was acting rude, not just to myself but to all the customers in the line. I was evident of a few customers walking out because of his personal communication style. He also forcefully canceled customers reservations without consent.

Cons: One switch rent a car allows "Discover Cars" to use their name and lie to future clients. I was told I was purchasing full insurance online and I paid an extra 27$ for insurance I was told is not accepted by their rental company. I was told they face this same problem everyday at this rental company so I guess the company knows this is an issue and has yet to fix it. I was disappointed by this issue.

I was in absolute distress and your representative took advantage of a mother traveling with children under stressed. I have made multiple attempts to connect with One Switch to discuss the bill but unfortunately One Switch has failed to provide descent customer service.

In the end, never even received a car because the agent and the manager do not know how to read English nor do they understand the laws and regulations concerning renters eligibility. Especially for you active duty or military veterans who use out-of-state license; forget about using this derelict company.

Cons: When I arrived at the rental car establishment there was one agent at the desk and multiple people in the back of the office not helping customers. The Manager was rude and clocked out and left one agent to handle approx. 8 people that came in as I was leaving. EVERYONE in line had the same insurance bait and switch issue when I rented the car and dropped it off. This is such a sham!!!
