Pros: Very professional and friendly service in picking up the car
Cons: Due to a change of circumstances, I returned the car about 5 weeks early, expecting a penalty but a sizeable refund. When it to was explained why I wasn't entitled, I said I would keep the car longer. This was refused as I had given the car keys back. Apart from being very expensive, this seemed unreasonably inflexible.

Many highways in Portugal are tolled using only electronic means.
All rental vehicles are equipped with a transponder that can be used for paying for all toll roads.
You’ll be charged a service fee of1.77 EUR day up to a maximum of 17.70 EUR rental in addition to the tolls, which will be charged to your credit card after the rental period.
You may also be required to leave an additional deposit for tolls.
