Cons: We got an hybrid VW … the agent never explained to us about the adjustments that we need to do and as a result the car simply did not start many times and we had to figure out a way by adjusting the e- charge .. also the road side assistance doesn’t work. We are also asked to pay additional insurance money by Europe cars

Pros: If Europcar allows to book the car via discover car website, they should be more forthcoming in terms coaling what type of equivalent car you will get. I was not happy with the type of car given when I specially booked a car via discover car which had bigger boot. Overall very dishonest.!!

Pros: That they are close to the airport and quite fast
Cons: Very old and damaged car, unbelievable. In addition, at first, we could not pay with separate cars, only if we took an extra insurance (which we already had). Overall: bad experience with Europe Car

Pros: Friendly staff and service on pick up and drop off. Even we’re alerted by staff on drop off one of the kids left their mobile phone in the back of the car!
Cons: Didn’t get the exact car we ordered, after specially sending an extra request as such. We got a great car though, (BMW 330e) same category but at some extra cost. Other option was smaller, or more aged car, with lots of damage. So we got car with some damage, scratches etc. However, car was heavily smoked in. As there was no other option we took this car as we had te leave for our destination bit this wasn’t ideal. Smell stayed on whole week…

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (damage deductible: € 950.00), Third Party Liability, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Rate excludes
Many highways in Portugal are tolled using only electronic means.
All rental vehicles are equipped with a transponder that can be used for paying for all toll roads.
You’ll be charged a service fee of2.50 EUR day up to a maximum of 21.50 EUR rental in addition to the tolls, which will be charged to your credit card after the rental period.
You may also be required to leave an additional deposit for tolls.
The Airport Surcharge applies in all airport locations. An E-Toll is offered in order to avoid violation fees.
