Cons: The car had lots of bumps on it on all sides. I’d understand scratches, the bumper was cracked in multiple places. Otherwise everything was great and value for money

Cons: The car I was given was unsafe to be on the road..it was pulling massively to the left, and the clutch was so high. The steering was awful..it had obviously been in a crash and needed a big service .all the passengers side was dented and damaged. It was unsafe..it should not have been given out for rental.

Cons: The need for a card in my name for the deposit seems unnecessary. I was able to arrange but had originally planned to use my husbands who was the names driver. The rental amount and holding amount need to be the same card and this wasn’t clear. Others having same issue and were forced to take out 30EUR a day insurance.

Pros: The staff service and support, from start to finish was excellent. The only issue we had was the car we were given initially - a Dacia Stepway - it was dreadful! After 2 days of driving we returned it to Knock airport and the staff willingly changed it for us - we were delighted.

Cons: Nothing at all about the service - it is excellent but please remove those Dacia cars from your fleet - they are shocking.

Cons: The car was clean but for a big hole in the carpet making it uncomfortable to drive. There was a problem with the offside front daytime during light. There was a problem with the bonnet not shutting property and the drivers side rear tyre needed inflating. Fortunately I was close to Ballygar so I could get the tyre inflated. Quite the worst car I have ever got from Budget where the company name was appropriate to the quality of the car but not the price I paid for it. There is more to say….

Pros: The guy who served us was fantastic! We'd had a long day due to difficulties at Stanstead and were very tired, but the budget staff member was friendly, empathetic, interested and gave us lots of support.

Cons: The time it takes the poor operatives to complete the documentation could be done prior to pick up.

Cons: Incredibly disappointed with the service provided by Budget. They ignored the contract agreement I had with Discover Cars and added extra charges without any explanation or invoice. Now I’m still in the process of trying to recover those charges but as the booking was through a third party, Budget are avoiding all responsibility. The car also featured many dents and scratches which I observed on arrival but were not acknowledged on the rental agreement. I won’t use either service again.0

Cons: When I tried to return the car at Knock there was no one in the office where we collected it. Just a sign to put the keys in a post box. So I went in to the terminal but the desk was unmanned. Another customer was waiting to collect a car. Eventually someone turned up but no one checked the car for fuel or damage. I thought this was rather unprofessional.

Cons: Was unaware that they take money for fuel until the car is return with full tank doesn’t state anyway when booking the rental. We did get it back within days if dropping the car back.

Cons: The car wasnt prepared for us. Granted it was covered in ice, however i had booked in a time to pick it up and it was not prepared. Also the sat nav was not functional so i had to have an external window mounted one.

Cons: I didn't like the car condition: dirty, two tires different from the others, convergence uncalibrated, no caps tires, wipers comsumed.

Cons: It was not made clear at time of comparison/before booking that a debit card is unsuitable, that a deposit is taken for a full tank of petrol etc. I was travelling with only one debit card and had budgeted strictly and so this really had a negative knock-on effect on the rest of my trip as my only option was to take out daily insurance which is charged at a higher daily rate than it would have been to purchase in advance online. The booking is also misleading as I didn't receive the car I chose.

We received no refund!
