Boric Car Rental at Willemstad Hato Airport

Pros: It took over 2 hours to collect the car

Cons: Very slow service. There was only one person in Boric office

Pros: No one was at the airport when we landed. We had to call and wait over 30 minutes to be picked up. 12 person van we ordered was not available supposedly was in an accident the day before. Ended with an older 12 person van that they were no longer renting out as the air conditioning was inconsistent. Air conditioning was not inconsistent it was only in the front two vents. No side opening windows. Day after we rented …the van had a flat tire.

Pros: Friendy service and the shuttle was very convienient.

Cons: There were many warning lights on the dashboard (master warning light, low tire pressure warning light, seat belt and airbag warning lights), and during our rental period we began getting an electronic key warning flashing as well. The agency assured us that it was just the sensors that needed to be replaced. The fact that these sensors were all faulty led us to believe the car was not being well maintained, which also made us wonder if we were safe in it. i.e. Do airbags work?

Pros: The staff were friendly and efficient.

Cons: The car worked fine but it had a few service lights on (tire and check engine.

Cons: Slow response time. Emailadres is not correct on website and/or email so mine email bounced back.

Pros: Quallity service, kindness and attention.

Cons: It's not directly a problem of Boric, but the place for pick-up by the shuttel at arrival airport is not realy easy. It's far the arrival and not realy good explained.

Pros: The upgrade was actually cheaper than most car rental places.

Cons: The vehicle’s condition not what expected but it was good and driveable condition

Pros: We have all new car, that was great. The man during the dropping off the car was nice and fast.

Cons: The lady during the picking up was not nice and slow.

Cons: The attendant wasn't friendly or kind at all. Spoke really fast about the condittions like she was in a hurry and no one was there. Also she didn't provided much useful information at all. Not a good service.

Pros: Even though there was only one attendant and therefore it took a long time, he was very attentive and patient.

Cons: The car I got was already well driven, the driver's seat was torn and all the seats were already stained. This is important to note when picking up the car. But it served us really well.

Pros: Didn't force to buy addicional insurance, friendly overall service.

Cons: I didn't receive the deposit back but are still within the 14 data asked.

Pros: easy communication through whatsapp (free wifi @ airport), fast pick up, easy check-in and friendly host. Car is not the newest (red Kia) but it is well maintained and it runs well. No problems. Very happy with the service.

Cons: I arrive to the airport late and was very difficult to find the stop where needs to wait for the shuttle because the name is fade by the time. Also the time that have to wait on the shuttle stop with a very hot temperature.

Cons: We waited almost 40 minutes outside of the airport to be picked up because they were waiting for passengers who arrived after us. They should pick up based on arrival times not minimum number of people.

I thought for sure the car would break down on us during our trip. This car needs to be retired from their fleet.

Pros: Checking in for the rental was an average experience. However, clearly describing the state and gas levels required before dropping the vehicle off needs to be clearer.

Cons: Boric car rental was a decent rental company until it’s time to return your vehicle. I returned my vehicle shortly after filling it up with gas. Now since the tank was full when I rented it, it’s nearly impossible to return it at completely full level. I assumed they would just charge me for the few litters needed to get it completely full however they charged me $28.00 USD (which is about the cost me to fill a full tank). I am a fair person, but charging a full tanks is ridiculous!

Pros: Vriendelijkheid van alle medewerkers. Het enige minpunt was dat de balie van dit autoverhuurbedrijf niet goed is aangegeven. De halte is achteraf op een parkeerplaats en dan moet je zelf bellen of ze je op komen halen. Na een lange reis is dit wel een tegenvaller en onnodig lang wachten.

Pros: Efficiënt pickup, airconditioning in office, seats to wait in, customer oriented.

Cons: The rental was in USD, my bank card did not accept any other currency than USD and they changed currency to be paid into NAFL making my payment card unusefull. Furthermore it was not possible to provide deposit by wire transfer and reimburse it after the rental. I had to use my company credit card to provide deposit which I had hoped to prevent. But I had no other choice else I'd had to accept being reimbursed a huge cash amount in NAFL which I am unable to spend at the end of my vacation.

Cons: - Bij afhalen had ik te maken met een zeer chagrijnige dame. Ik vroeg aan haar of er toch een kleine hatchback beschikbaar was, want die had ik ook gereserveerd. Toen reageerde zij geïrriteerd. - Auto was niet schoon van binnen. -Ruitenwissers werkte niet -knipperlicht werkte niet -autosleutel reageerde niet.

Cons: They stated my reservation was canceled upon arrival even after I showed them my active reservation. It took a while to pick up the car

Pros: Fairly quick pick up and easy drop off/return, but agents are not always available, it's kind of hit or miss if someone is there.

We asked to extend our rental by one day and an agent said that was fine but we had to exchange the car, then we came to exchange and they said it wasn't necessary. Also, trunk was broken when we received the car. Agent said she would contact us and send someone with a new car the next day and she never did. Also, check out time was agreed on noon, but we got messages saying we were late at 10:30 because agents forgot to change paperwork.
