Pros: Condition of the car

Pros: It was fast and efficient - I was on holiday and wanted the least amount of fuss possible.

Cons: The car had a pamphlet stating how the interior is cleaned and disinfected. I took a wet wipe and ran it over the steering wheel and driver side door interior and it was very grubby after. So someone didn’t clean well, or I have overly high expectations

Pros: The lady who took the car from us on return was friendly and helpful

Cons: over 45min wate

Pros: the agent who gave me the car was very nice and very helpful his name was kamarl very very nice to deal with.

Cons: wasn't very clean quiet dirty.

Pros: The staff served us very good despite trying to give us small car size than reserved one as reserved size not available. I rejected so upgrade provided but not good car, giving as given me massages about the engine, break of from right tyre was wired!!!!

(ii) Record in Alamo about location of my returning the car was incorrect (i.e. different from what I stated in making the online reservation). (iii) Discrepancy in amount of deposit to return to me after I had returned the car (the issue was solved eventually after I made an international phone call to Alamo to check and clarify).

Cons: The child car seats are not fit for kids and infants. In a crash they would be in grave danger. We had to spend money to stay at a hotel for the night and then had to buy our own child seats. A huge inconvenience for us

Staff were excellent from explaining the ins and outs of the car to explaining what they were doing at drop off. Overall great experience from start to finish. Even the pick up and drop off drivers to and from the airport were very helpful.

Cons: Nothing really. It was an older rental car with a few small marks and 40,000 miles on it but that didn’t bother me at all as I only had it for practical reasons to get around. The Vauxhall Corsa was great. It had Apple car play to use with my phone to direct me to places. It was a nice small car that was superb to drive and park on the small roads in UK. During my month with the car I travelled over 2000 miles and the car went beautifully and used very little fuel.

Pros: Thanks you to Ridilund (bigger chap) and Tabbi for their help processing the car and seats quickly.

Cons: Would have liked quicker shuttle pickup, or comfier waiting area after drop off.

Cons: Pick-up agent told us we needed to okay extra £800 for insurance as we had none. I showed him the Discovercar agreement saying we did. He said it wasn't theirs so if anything happened we'd be charged the full value of the car then have to sue Discovercar to get the money. I didn't pay the extra as thought it was stupid to pay twice but it was very upsetting. We won't use Alamo ever again.
