All flights are currently operating out of North Terminal at Gatwick Airport. The check in desk is located within the Terminal by Domestic Arrivals, with the car collection a 2-3 minute walk from this desk. For all of those arriving on international flights, the desk can be found at the far end of the arrivals hall.

Cons: We were charged £1,500.00 for a minor scratch that was not caused by us. Unfortunately on our photos it is difficult to see any of the damages on the car as when we got it, it was tightly parked between 2 other cars in a very tight car park and the lighting creates many reflections. We have entered in contact with Alamo contesting this, but have had no reply. We are certain this scratch was already there. Even if we have to pay, we would, but £1,500.00 is day light robbery for a scratch.

Pros: Office staff friendly and efficient
Cons: Car was dirty. Could not check state damages. Upon my return was accused of damaging a tyre. Which I definitely did not do.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 1750.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium location fee, Road tax, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.

Driver requirements
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.
UK residents that hold a non-UK licence may drive in the UK for up to 12 months from the time they become a resident. After 12 months, the overseas licence will be deemed illegal in the UK and it must be exchanged for the UK equivalent.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 28 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.

The grace period will be honored only during business hours.
